Just Released - Book Build and a Global Activity Feed

Caruso already runs the capital raise end to end — from the data room through to the digital application. But many investor relations teams still build the book in spreadsheets, tracking soft commitments and ownership, only to lose the original interest and context once applications begin. This release rebuilds the book at the front of the process and brings every interaction behind each commitment into a single view, with CRM centralising emails, portal activity, raise views, meetings, calls and notes so your team has the complete history.
Track the Book Build from Interest to Application
Caruso now records expressions of interest (EOIs) against any contact, showing interest expressed, converted and remaining across a raise. Each EOI stays open as applications are raised against it, so the original interest remains visible as the raise progresses.
- Work the whole book, or just your own. Filter the pipeline by owner to focus on the relationships that matter.
- See every interaction behind an EOI. View emails, meetings, calls, notes, document views and portal activity in one place.
- Link applications without losing context. Connect each EOI to its applications while retaining its status, notes and history.
- Track raise coverage. Compare interest with applications requested, approved and completed.
The book build joins the data rooms, pipeline tracking and digital applications in Caruso's capital raising tools. Read more about managing expressions of interest in our help centre.
One Activity Feed Across Every Contact

Each interaction builds a fuller picture of an investor or adviser relationship. Caruso’s CRM now centralises emails, portal activity, raise views, meetings, calls and notes, giving your team the complete history.
- One activity feed. View activity across all contacts and investing entities in one place.
- Find what matters. Filter by activity, status, teammate or date, then export the results.
- Log meetings and calls. Record calls and meetings against a contact, with notes and a full audit history.
- Track EOI engagement. See activity for contacts with live EOIs in the capital raise view.
This extends the activity feed released in March, which brought transactional emails and engagement signals onto investor records. Read more about CRM activity in our help centre.
